Hi, I’m Dr. Tyson Garfield!

I’m a Geriatrician at the University of Colorado, passionate about geriatric medicine and healthy aging. This website is a space for learning and sharing insights on these important topics.

I earned my medical degree from TCOM in Fort Worth, TX, and completed my internal medicine training at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, NC. I further specialized in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Colorado in Denver. I am board-certified in both Internal and Geriatric Medicine.

I currently reside in Denver, Colorado with my partner, Lauren. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy hiking, running, and a good game night!
